Challenge: Two women who have been best friends for years purchased a home together as an investment. The home is beautiful, with a large backyard and a basement walkway that leads to it. They would like to use their backyard and basement for entertaining their guests, but unfortunately, their basement is unfinished. This makes it one of the only places in the house in need of renovation. They have plumbing set up in the basement already, but no bathroom.    Solution: We finished their basement as one large space and a bathroom. To create a good layout, we had to move the plumbing to where the bathroom fit best. We built a simple wet bar, and matched the staircase in the basement to the existing staircase on the first floor. The two had Emtek door knobs throughout their house, so instead of installing our own, they had their locksmith install the same doorknobs after we finished the renovation. The two friends ended up with a beautiful space for entertainment, and a second bathroom which could be used by guests without having to go through the entire house.

Mike and Pam are a wonderful couple who live in a condo in Londonderry NH. The pair already had a finished office and family room area, but their basement needed upgrades. This family dreamed of adding some extra space in their home to relax and provide storage. When Total Basement Finishing first got in contact with Charley H. he needed a new home office. He and his wife were expecting their second child and there simply wasn't enough room for all of them!
